Who we are
The idea to create schumacherfilms arose from the desire to tell stories inspired by history, legends and myths from South America. Our vision is to bring to the big screen stories that move and excite, from a continent that has remained unexplored on so many levels. We believe that all one needs is a good idea to bring a whole universe to life and that a low budget is no limitation to showing these extraordinary stories to audiences around the world.
With “Children of Kings” we are telling the story of one of the most influential figures in 19th century Bolivia and Argentina, but in a way that reaches not only friends of historic movies but especially fans of exciting drama and realistic action.

Rodolfo Palacios (“Revolución”, “Mel Gibson´s Apocalypto”) is in talks for the role of an Aymaran leader.
Ricardo Diaz Mendoza (“Mel Gibson´s Apocalypto”) is in talks for the role of the lead character Hualparrimachi.
Thomas Giegerich is in talks for the role of Otto Braun while Luis Rios is taking on the role of the Spanish sharpshooter Carlos „Santero“ Rios.
Oliver Ewy (“Krabat”, “Die Weber”) is in talks to join the Spanish ranks.
